    ASICS Tiger Corporation has more than fifty years of footwear manufacturing experience. They offer a full line of performance-driven athletic shoes, technical active sports apparel and accessories geared toward the serious running and athletic enthusiast.

    Problem:
    ASICS needed a way for its sales force to easily familiarize itself with the Fall 2001 product line. In researching a solution, the ASICS sales force indicated that a handy, clear and simple reference aid was needed when calling on retailers.

    Solution:
    Daniel's solution was to design the seasonal sales catalogs with a quick reference flap that allowed for immediate reference and comparison of all ASICS technologies with ASICS products. The sales force were able to immediately and more effectively explain the features, functions and benefits of all models, as well as match products with specific end user profiles. Color-coding product catalogs for each category, such as in-line and team, as well as the footwear and apparel versions, for visual identity enabled fast identification by the salesperson. A chart with the top four technologies for each product was designed to add ease in describing value. ASICS loved Daniel's solution because it made sense, was cost effective and its sales force supported it.
