    Olympus America is part of the larger Olympus Group, which sells consumer imaging products, healthcare solutions, and industrial products. Olympus America focuses on such products as digital cameras, 35mm cameras and optical drives.

    Problem:
    Olympus needed a bolder, more cohesive design for marketing materials. At that time, the Company was using posters, data sheets, brochures, and tradeshow advertisements, all of which lacked the ability to engage consumers. Olympus needed a way to show the quality of its digital camera line to retail consumers, and tradeshow attendees at a glance, rather than using lengthy explanations.

    Solution:
    Daniel came up with an idea to use Olympus digital cameras to shoot the images for the marketing materials. This would allow Olympus to demonstrate high-quality imaging which, the company wanted to communicate. He used image-editing programs to customize the images in a variety of media. Additionally, Daniel developed a strategy which maintained consistent branding throughout the various printed materials. Olympus' expectations were surpassed and the solution was an immediate success.
