Since joining Cotton Heritage, I have delivered significant improvements to brand recognition and visibility by creating highly conceptual print and digital ads, as well by cultivating relationships with editors at top industry publications. This includes using my copywriting talents to craft attention-grabbing headlines and ad copy. As a director, I lead a team of marketing and creative professionals in the design, development, and production of collateral that aligns with our brand standards and image. I have been instrumental in nurturing a positive group dynamic and culture, which has facilitated cross-functional collaboration and contributed to open communication across the company. In addition, I am focused on driving cost reductions while increasing value at the department and company levels.

My key achievements:

Triggered dramatic 724% increase in marketing exposure by conceptualizing and launching aggressive marketing plan.

Achieved a first in the company’s 35-year history by securing placement on the cover of Printwear Magazine, a leading industry publication.

Devised plan to rebrand eCommerce site, address oversights, and enhance user interface and user experience (UI/UX); completed basic corrections and scheduled full redesign for launch in mid-2018.

2013 – 2015

Minacs Marketing Solutions, A Concentrix company

Creative Director

I oversaw all aspects of creative design across interactive, print, and social channels for multiple Honda programs, including the $37M Honda Owners Lifecycle Communications (HOLC) Program. My 14-member creative team was located in California and Michigan; by initiating a complete transformation of the program creative, I enabled the team to produce high-quality collateral that exceeded the client’s expectations. I also worked closely as an advisor to top Honda executives regarding the overall creative direction.

My key achievements:

Initiated and designed four-year program to grow brand awareness, increase owner satisfaction, and lift purchase rates.

Provided conceptual and hands-on direction for multichannel web, email, digital, and direct mail campaigns.

Designed and produced highly variable, personalized digital and print communications, as well as responsive UI/UX for digital pieces.

Conducted nationwide focus groups to test and refine communications prior to launch.


2008 – 2012

Sena Cases, a Targus company

Marketing Director/Creative Director

I was responsible for managing marketing, creative, and related staff for multiple brands of this case manufacturer, including Sena Cases, Michael Kors, and others. In addition, I performed hands-on web design, print design, photography, illustration, and copywriting.

Key Achievements:

Grew revenue by 583% in three years by leading rebranding effort and effectively positioning all brands within the market.

Liaised with third-party product team at Apple corporate to facilitate sales of Sena cases at Apple locations nationwide.

Played key role in securing licensing agreement with Michael Kors for Sena to produce Kors-branded cases.

Improved web presence by refreshing eCommerce store UI/UX and launching social media campaigns that achieved high click-through rates.
